How to Get to Mu Cang Chai
From Hanoi: Mu Cang Chai is approximately 300 km northwest of Hanoi. Travelers can take a bus or drive to reach this remote area. The journey takes around 6-7 hours by car or motorbike. Popular routes pass through Yen Bai and Nghia Lo, offering scenic stops along the way.
By Bus: Buses to Mu Cang Chai depart from Hanoi’s My Dinh Bus Station. Opt for sleeper buses or local buses heading towards Lai Chau or Sapa, which pass through Mu Cang Chai.
