When is the Best Time to Visit Nha Trang?

Nha Trang’s climate is relatively mild, with a dry season from January to August and no cold winter. This makes it a year-round destination. From April to June, the weather is sunnier and hotter, but not excessively humid.

Starting in September, scattered rains appear but do not significantly affect tourist activities. From October to December, rainfall increases, sometimes accompanied by cooler air. This is no longer the peak domestic tourism season, making it ideal for those seeking a quiet retreat

Transportation

Currently, airlines like Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, and Jetstar offer flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang via Cam Ranh Airport. Bamboo Airways also has flights from Hanoi. Ticket prices range from 1,400,000 to 2,500,000 VND.

Cam Ranh Airport is about 35 km from the city center. Taxis cost around 300,000 VND per trip. Alternatively, visitors can take Bus No.18 for 50,000 VND per ride.

Nha Trang is not very large, with the main roads running along the beach. Renting a motorbike is recommended for exploring, especially to enjoy local cuisine. Motorbike rentals cost around 100,000 – 150,000 VND per day, often available at hotels.

Hotels and Resorts

Tran Phu Street runs along the beach and is lined with many hotels. Recommended hotels include Muong Thanh, Novotel, InterContinental Nha Trang, Sheraton Nha Trang, and Lodge. Prices start at 900,000 VND per night, with higher-end options ranging from 2 to 3 million VND per night.

To save costs, visitors can look for hotels or homestays behind Tran Phu Street, such as Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Hung Vuong, or Nguyen Thien Thuat streets.

For those preferring a private resort away from the center, Amiana Resort on Pham Van Dong Street, Vinpearl Resort on Hon Tre Island, or MerPerle are great options.
