The cave, itself is a part of historical Ho Chi Minh Trail, was also used as a shelter dring the Viet Nam War so once visitting this cave, you have a chance to witness the massive bomb scars at the main entrance.
Activities:
· 4,5km Kayaking and caving in Phong Nha Cave
· Swimming in the cave.
· Discover the old Cham Script.
Adventure level:
- Moderate – Suitable for most ages and abilities. Physical fitness is required including climbing stairs, swimming and walking on rocky boulders and uneven and slippery ground. A lot of kayaking will require use of your hands.
What to bring:
· Good trekking shoes are recommended.
· Wear swimwear under your clothes
· A travel towel or Sarong (not the room towels please)

The Phong Nha Cave is the most well known cave in the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. It is the first cave discovered in the park by ancient Cham people who had been living in Central Viet Nam from 2nd to 19th century. The Cham people used to be using the cave as a temple for worshipping their Hinduism and Budism Gods and they also wrote the old writing Script on the wall inside Phong Nha Cave.
